Here at Angel’s Share Glass, we are proud to supply some of the finest distilleries in Scotland, and have created a 3-part distillery tour list that includes world-famous sights. and some of our favourites. They are ideal to visit in the summer because of the stunning views, opportunities to sample the local produce, not to mention discover some of our bespoke designs as all distilleries in our guide stock Angel’s Share Glass.
We are starting the list in Speyside our favourite and most populated of Distillery regions.

This historic Speyside distillery has been producing some of the finest single malt scotch whisky since starting production almost 120 years ago in September 1897. In the heart of Elgin , Morayshire The Distillery House watches over you as you draw into the car park and the staff are always warm friendly and hugely knowledgeable. With Distillery Only bottles available there are great tasting opportunities and also a fun selection of our glassware.

Regarded as one of the most complex and characterful malt whiskies of the venerated Speyside region, Cragganmore is one of the remaining few distilleries that boast flat top stills which contributes to it’s unique character and rich layers of flavour.

Historic for being the only malt distillery pioneered by a woman, Cardhu is also part of the world famous Malt Whisky Trail which is made up of eight of the most revered distilleries in the Speyside area. Having recently been re furbished and re-opened as the speyside home of Johnnie Walker

This Speyside distillery, particularly famous for its 10 and 15-year-old malts offers a number of  bespoke tours and tastings, each one tailored to provide a unique whisky experience.

Describing itself as ‘the single malt that started it all’, Glenlivet is revered by connoisseurs, and is the biggest selling single malt whisky in the United States as well as the second biggest selling single malt globally.
Moving on to the Highlands & Islands Region

Recently taken over by the French luxury company The Lalique Group Glenturret used to be home to The Famous Grouse. Classed as one of Scotland's Oldest Distilleries it has evolved  with it's michelin star restaurant now as big an attraction as the Distillery itself.
Isle of Arran - Arran Whisky

The Lochranza Distillery site on the Isle of Arran and producing a celebrated single malt for over 150 years, this eponymous distillery features a number of whisky tours and tastings year-round. The newest addition to the Island Lagg Distillery has it's whisky come of age in 2022. Well worth a visit to the Ilse to sample some amazing drams.

Part of the Hebridean Whisky Trail. Isle of Raasay is both set in a stunning location but it's island status makes it even more inviting. Not only can you visit by ferry for the day but the Distillery also host some beautiful accommodation perfect for soaking up the island experience.
