Distillery Reflections Part IV - Strathisla

Strathisla Distillery is one of the oldest and most picturesque distilleries in Scotland, located in the heart of the Speyside region. Founded in 1786, it has a rich history of producing some of the finest single malt whiskies in the world. The distillery is known for its distinctive twin pagodas, which are a familiar sight to anyone who has visited the town of Keith. One of the unique aspects of Strathisla's whisky is the use of traditional methods, including the use of worm tubs, which are believed to contribute to the whisky's rich and complex flavour profile.

The Strathisla Distillery offers a range of tours and tastings to visitors, allowing them to learn about the history and heritage of the distillery, as well as the whisky-making process. Visitors can explore the distillery's historic buildings and warehouses, and sample some of the distillery's most famous expressions, including the Strathisla 12 Year Old and the Strathisla 18 Year Old.The distillery is the home of Chivas now also owned by French Company Pernod Ricard.  The distillery also has a visitor centre and retail shop where visitors can purchase a range of exclusive whiskies, as well as other souvenirs and gifts like our water droppers.

We love Strathisla so much we even made it into one of our Distillery Reflections! We have captured each reflection in fused glass and each piece is truly unique. the scene is made up of tiny pieces of fused glass completed by our local glass artists Emma Fitzgerald and finished by  Angels' Share Glass to form this wonderful homeware set. The set is completed by a Whisky Glass and backlit whisky scented candle mounted on a whisky stave.
These beautiful artists' impressions of your favourite distilleries are exquisitely lit with a whisky-scented candle and are enhanced by a real oak stave made from whisky barrels and a Spirits Glass to allow you to
