The first Scotch Malt Whisky Society, The Vaults, was situated in Leith and it now stands as one of Scotland’s oldest commercial buildings. It is accessible by the wider public as well as members allowing all the chance to taste whisky straight from the cask, alongside experience whiskies that are no longer in production as a result of casks from ‘silent’ distilleries.
