It's Tom's Birthday so this is a cracker to celebrate!
Adelphi - 1988 Cambus (27yo)
Nose: a delicious cocktail of fruits with summer berries and tropical fruits. Quite light and delicate with some flora notes of fresh cut grass, rose water, soft vanilla & floral honey.
Palate: creamy, woody, well balanced and rather complex with different layers of flavours. Oak, sweet spices, rum & raisin ice cream, caramel sticky pudding, vanilla flan, coconut milk... Yummy!
Finish: lingering & gourmet
Food Pairing: cannelés (local pastries from Bordeaux - France)
