It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Master Glassblower, Co-Founder and Father Tom Young MBE.

Tom was not only a master glassblower; he had gained a truly outstanding knowledge of glassblowing. Tom was so generous with his time and talent, never hesitating to help so many glassblowers as they embarked on their careers. Tom had been making glass for seventy years - from the age of fourteen to eighty-four years old - and it truly was his life’s passion.

Latterly in his career, Tom founded Angels’ Share Glass with his daughter, Karen, and family. This venture kept him young and active with a sense of purpose enabling Tom to showcase his genius by way of his innovative designs.

Now, at Angels’ Share Glass, we will continue to keep Tom’s legacy alive.

We would like to thank everyone for the many lovely messages we have received. We would appreciate it if you could afford us the time to adjust to this difficult situation. Please rest assured that your orders and enquiries will be dealt with as soon as we can.

Funeral Arrangements; Tuesday 6th June at 12.30pm Bridge of Allan Parish Church followed by a short ceremony at Stirling crematorium followed by refreshments at Dunblane Golf Club

 All who knew him welcome
