Here at Angels’ Share Glass, we take great pride in the fact that all our products are handmade and hand-blown in Scotland. Differing from your typical glass company, where moulds and large furnaces would be used, we opt for a more personal flair where each item is hand-blown at a bench, with a torch/flame.

Tom Young Glassblower - Angels' Share Glass

Our resident glassblowers who are each highly skilful can take up to a day to complete one product, this ensures that the item has the correct shape and looks not too dissimilar to the previous. Some of our products are incredibly intricate, which require a lot of time and patience on our glassblowers part, like our Kelpie Water Droppers and our Angels.

All our products are made from raw tubing glass, which we buy in large tubes. Then we heat it up with our flames which reach about 2000 degrees, it is then worked to achieve the desired shape and then blown, this is when you really see the products come to life.

Being a family business is really important to us, as not only have we created a business for ourselves in the now. We have hopefully created a business for those to come.

If you want to find out more about us and what we do then we have a short YouTube video which explains just that!
