Job Description (include details of main responsibilities of role & activities to be carried out):
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual to assist our Glassblowing team – this is an exciting opportunity.
The role will consist of training and development in Lamp Working Glassblowing to allow the candidate to help produce our world-famous designs. The role will also require glass decoration, preparation and equipment management.
Essential Skills;
A Creative flair
Practical approach to sizes and designs
Patience and adaptability to unique skills
Dexterity and an eye for detail
A team player who can learn quickly and adapt to change quickly.
Desirable:
Familiarity with bench glassblowing equipment
Lamp Work or bead making experience OR
Experience with scientific or laboratory glassmaking
And technical interest and or practical working
This post is based on flexible working hours dependant on experience at our Glassblowing studio in Bridge of Allan.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications preferred or required for the role:
The applicant must be interested in Art should have an eye for creativity as well as technical processing and technical problem solving. They must be a team player and work well under instruction.
Full training and instruction will be given through out the employment and the expectation is to have basic glassblowing skills within 6-12 months.
