We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Finance Manager required for growing our Glassware company. Based in Bridge of Allan, Stirling. Angels Share Glass is a leading Scottish Manufacturer of Quality Glassware and Giftware.

Angels’ Share Glass Ltd offers Global wholesale, Global retail/ecommerce.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record and provide commitment and reliability in delivering The Company Financials.

Qualifications & Desirable Skills

The candidate must have an extensive knowledge and experience of Sage 50 professional software and Sage Payroll, Xero and associated Inventory Apps.

A high level of IT skills, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
A recognised accountancy qualification and at least 3 years experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence, creativity, demonstrate efficiency and effective processing of data, courteous and an ability to communicate with members of the team,

A strong work ethic and proven track record of being proactive and using initiative within the financial department.

They must be flexible, have a sense of humour and be a team player. They will be able to multitask effectively and be able to problem-solve when needed.

The candidate must have goodtime management skills and must be able to meet deadlines with a commitment to improving and maintaining best business practice.

Job Description & Duties;

  • Responsibility for preparation of Monthly management accounts

  • Oversee the operations of the book-keeping and accounting system for the


  • Monthly Budgeting and Cashflow Analysis

  • Managing Projections, Forecasting and Budgets

  • Monthly P&L Balance Sheet reconciliations.

  • Monthly & Annual Business budgets

  • Management of Foreign Exchange bank accounts and transactions.

  • Credit Control

  • Management & Analysis of Ecommerce Financials. (amazon/etsy/paypal/ebay)

  • Management of VAT and foreign VAT/TAX submissions

  • Preparation of Quarterly VAT Returns.

  • Preparation of staff pensions and reporting.

  • Preparation of Year End accounts & Tax for internal and external review

  • Be familiar with HR Procedures, recruitment, and Company compliance.

  • Oversee Payroll on Sage Payroll

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receiving credit control.

  • Oversee Bank reconciliation, processing procedures and inspection.

  • Overseeing Business Admin Assistant

  • Cost analysis and recommendations to increase profitability.

  • Pricing analysis

  • Company financial overview to maintain and achieve adequate goals for all departments.

  • Grant Application & Funding proposals

  • Problem solving abilities and willingness to use own initiative to drive improvements in processes.
  • Liaising with external Accountancy Firm
  • Reporting to Company Directors.

Hours required are approx.18 hours per week Salary circa £25,000 Pro Rata
