Harris Tweed & Iconic Whisky Bottles
We're excited to be unveiling a brand-new product, Harris Tweed Whisky Lamps, available now to order. The lamps caused a stir when they arrived in the office this week, especially the ones created from the stunning Highland Park Valhalla Single Malt Whisky bottles - Thor (sold out) and Loki - which are set in longboat-inspired wooden cases.
If you're looking for a unique way to light your home or gift for a whisky lover, these quintessentially Scottish lamps are ideal.
The lamps are created using a selection of the most attractive whisky bottles donated to us. Combined with shades created from traditional Harris Tweed fabric, they are refashioned into beautiful handmade lamps.
These stunning lamps will give a traditional flavour to your home and are sure to take pride of place.
They join our range of innovative handmade products including Whisky-filled Christmas Baubles, Pocket Whisky Water Droppers in Harris Tweed Cases and upcycled Whisky-Scented Candles.
To create the lamps, we teamed up with local designer and artisan Mairead Hume, who specialises in Harris Tweed golf accessories. Mairead has a passion for golf and for the beautiful Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, and saw a natural synergy between the hand woven, highly durable, colourful Harris Tweed and the traditional Scottish game of golf. Like us, Mairead enjoys a wee dram! She also produces Harris Tweed cases for our Whisky Water Droppers.
