As a multi-award winning family business, we're excited to be part of the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2017. The ceremony took place last night (Thursday 21 September) at the stunning Doubletree Dunblane Hilton Hotel, just a couple of miles from our base in Bridge of Allan. This year, the drinks were on us - as sponsors we supplied a whisky aperitif, our own Angels' Nectar, a blended malt. It was a fantastic evening and we enjoyed raising our glasses and saying "Slàinte mhath" to toast the winners! This year's winners included Stirling Gin, Falkirk Football Community Stadium, Neil Mclean of United Auctions, Siabaan, Ecosse Holdings Ltd and SV24-7 Vending. Congratulations everyone!

Winning an award is an incredible boost for any business and we wish all the nominees luck. Last year, we fought off tough competition to be named Best Micro Business 2016 and we also won the Most Innovative Product 2016, for our unique Whisky Water Droppers, a groundbreaking product solving the age-old problem of spoiling a dram by adding too much water. The elegant glass dropper allows water to be added one drop at a time. It's our best-selling product and has been praised by whisky connoisseurs around the world.

In 2015, we won Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Earlier this year we were delighted to be named Scottish Family Business of the Year by The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), at the FSB and Worldpay UK Business Awards 2017. We also won the organisation's Scottish Business and Product Innovation Award, again for our Whisky Water Droppers

Our work has been recognised by many other Awards. In 2015 we were finalists for Young Business of the Year at the Association of Small Business Women Awards; in 2014 we won Theo Paphitis' Small Business Sunday and we were finalists in the Herald Scottish Family Business Awards 2014 International Growth and Business Innovation categories, as well in the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2014 Most Innovative Product.

Our co-director and world renowned Master Glassblower Tom Young was named an MBE in this year's New Year's Honours List in recognition of his long service to the glassblowing industry. In a proud and emotional day for all of us at Angel's Share, especially his daughter Karen, he was presented with the MBE by Prince William at Buckingham Palace in April.

It's a real honour to have won all these awards. Since we launched Angel's Share Glass just over four years ago, we've seen phenomenal growth and we'd like to thank all of you for your incredible support and continued business.

As members of the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce we love being part of the thriving business community in Forth Valley. Well done to all the finalists and winners.
