Our 2022 roundup.

Way back in January 2022 there was still the air of uncertainty for us all. The past 2 years had made us think long and hard about business, our families and our purpose. We hope looking back can also make us feel proud in all we achieved throughout the past year.

Starting with a stressful first trip to Atlanta in January where we had to navigate Covid vaccine certificates strict border controls and wearing a mask on an 9 hour flight. We made it and attended the first Americas Mart tradeshow in The States since the pandemic began. This huge show spans over 3 buildings all massive with glass elevators and escalators it's a spectacular piece of architecture. bringing masses of retailers and wholesalers from across the states to view our Scotland is Now stand we were so fortunate to join 10 other amazing businesses in showcasing Angels' Share Glass to the USA.

Quickly we had to re-group for our second trip to the USA this time to New York for New York Tartan Week. Where again we were guests of Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce and showcased our goods alongside 10 other amazing Scottish Businesses. What an experience to walk down 6th Avenue with people cheering and waving Saltires.  Meeting celebrities and also ceilidh dancing our heart out as we met potential customers to stock our products in the states.

Summer sees us start talks with China on importing our products a huge deal for Angels' Share and a look at our capacity for the year ahead. A huge market for us but certainly an opportunity to grow the business.

We also had a lovely summer exhibitions with our destination company Spectra where we exhibited and did glassblowing demonstrations in the beautiful Stirling Castle and Lindores Abbey Distillery.
