Measuring 55mm in diameter, each of these hand-blown, refillable, clear glass baubles, is engraved with one of four house sigils, representing Houses Stark, Targaryen, Lannister and Baratheon. In addition, each bauble is filled with 50ml of limited release Game of Thrones Single Malt Whisky from the corresponding collectors’ editions created by Diageo.

The original bottles from this limited release are becoming increasingly difficult to come by, making these baubles the perfect way to own four of the malts celebrating the hit show. Full details on each of the baubles and the malt within are as follows:

• House Stark - Dalwhinnie Winter’s Frost: Aged in ex-bourbon casks, this light gold single malt gently opens to flavours of honeyed figs and delicious malt balls, finishing with rich fruitcake sweetness. Like House Stark, Dalwhinnie Winter’s Frost is loyal to the flavour profile that the distillery is known for, and not only survives the cold of winter, but uses it to its advantage.

• House Targaryen - Cardhu Gold Reserve: The whisky's rich golden colour is accompanied by soft honey aromas with just a hint of toasted oak. Take a sip and you’re greeted by apple pie flavours, sweet baked fruit and buttery cinnamon, which quickly develop into a rich caramel with clove and malty biscuit flavours mixed throughout.

• House Lannister - Lagavulin 9 Year Old: Lagavulin 9 Year Old is a roaring single malt that leaves an intensely smoky flavour in every sip. The golden liquid recalls the Lannisters’ riches and comes from being exclusively matured in first fill ex-Bourbon casks. The nose is characteristic of Lagavulin and bursts with sweet smoke, with a slightly zestier, maritime scent than other expressions. 

• House Baratheon - Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old: A light amber colour of this single malt echoes the light and delicate aromas of this 12-year-old Royal Lochnagar. It starts with gentle oak aromas that develop into sweeter caramel tones with a fruity edge. When you taste it there are immediate sweet layers of vanilla and liquorice, which blend into a gentle finish of nutmeg and sweet pastries.

Strictly limited to 25 sets, these are a must have for any single malt loving fan of George R.R. Martin’s fantasy epic. Boasting craftsmanship so fine, these baubles are fit for a Khaleesi. If you know Lannister’s from your Targaryen’s, your Snow’s from your Stark’s, and your Three Eyed Ravens from your White Walkers, then this is the perfect set for you.
