Dec 15 - Malt Whisky Co. - Macduff 16 year old
Nose: very fruit-forward with baked apples, pear drops and stewed orchard fruits. Also some notes of red berries, kumquat and a subtle underlying smokiness. Deliciously appealing!
Palate: The smokiness now appears more present as soon as the liquid hits the palate. Still some fruity notes of apricot jam and cooked red apples. Warming and heartwarming, this dram would be the ideal companion of some hearty wintery dinner!
Finish: medium with stewed fruits and wood spices.
