Dec 18 - 2005 Croftengea 11 year old

Nose: sweet, gourmet & earthy with dark chocolate, caramel bonbons, honey-glazed barbecued bacon slices & raspberry granache (what a mix hey!).

Palate: grassy & peppery with peat smoke. Also some notes of raw coffee grounds, cocoa & a certain sourness towards the end.

Finish: medium and rather vegetable.

Food Pairing: crême brulée
