Dressed for Success with Capture Boutique & Country Pursuits

November 02, 2017

Our Director Karen Somerville and Sales Manager Jennifer Kidd are jetting off to the States for an exciting business trip this Saturday.

Supported by Scottish Development International and Scottish Enterprise, they'll spend a week visiting potential trade customers and following up new leads, to grow the business on the other side of the Atlantic. Chicago then Kentucky, home of Bourbon!

Angels' Share Glass has been expanding its international market with stockists of the glassware in Australia, Europe, New Zealand and recent developments include supplying guests at the Saigon Liquor Collectors' Club's anniversary celebration in Ho Chi Minh City with bespoke Whisky Angels.

The week will be a whirlwind of meetings, networking, evening events and of course sightseeing, so Karen and Jen's travel wardrobes need to work as hard as they will be. With sample products to bring in their suitcases, there's not much room for clothes and they had some difficult choices to make.

Friend and favourite fashionista Alison Kilgour of Capture Boutique and Country Pursuits in Bridge of Allan stepped in to design a special US capsule wardrobe to take Karen and Jen from business to social events, feeling chic and comfortable.

Giving them confidence and feeling empowered by their choice of clothes.

Alison combined these items with staples from Karen's wardrobe to create a selection of day-to-night looks.

Each item can be mixed and matched to create a variety of outfits.

Jen's wardrobe is equally classic yet concise. Look out for tweets over the next week to see their gorgeous outfits and find out their US news.
